EA has announced that there will be a pre-release multiplayer demo available for upcoming sci-fi shooter, Crysis 2. Sadly, only Xbox Live Gold members will be able to play it when it goes live on January 25.
In light of the fact that the game was beta tested on Xbox 360, it’s not that surprising that the multiplayer demo should go live on that platform. However, the news will still sting for PC gamers who were fans of the original game.
It’s not all bad news though, as rumour has it that EA will release a multiplatform pre-release demo for the single player portion of the game. Also, the game looks totally awesome, so be sure to check out the announcement trailer below.
