Evetech presents R150,000 South African Counter-Strike tournament

The Evetech Champions League Counter-Strike: Global Offensive competition has been unveiled.

Evetech teased the tournament by posting an Evetech Champions League poster to its Facebook page.

Along with the poster image, Evetech also posted the tag line, “Something is coming. Get excited. ”

The competition will be broadcasted by navTV and will feature top South African Counter-Strike teams, including Bravado Gaming, eNergy eSports, Aperture Gaming, and Carbon Gaming.

Players will compete for a prize pool of R150,000.

The competition will take place from 2-4 September, and will feature open qualifiers from 18 July – 15 August.

The two highest-placed teams in the open qualifiers will compete against the four selected teams at the main event.

The event will be held at an exclusive venue in Centurion, Gauteng and ticket information will be available in the coming weeks.
