Netflix will launch new Star Trek show around the world at the same time

Netflix and CBS have announced that episodes of the new Star Trek television show will be available all over the world within 24 hours of their US premiere.

New episodes will screen first on CBS in the United States and Canada, after which Netflix will distribute them to 188 other countries.

The two companies also announced that all 727 existing episodes of the Star Trek television library will be available on Netflix around the world by the end of 2016.

This includes “Star Trek: The Original Series,” “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine,” “Star Trek: Voyager”, and “Star Trek: Enterprise”.

All of the above shows are already available on Netflix in South Africa.

The new Star Trek show will premiere in January 2017.

    Why? The only thing the show had was the Uhura / Kirk kiss. Nothing else was really good about the shows after the original season. Just a space opera, and not a very good one at that.
