Is it “cool” to hate Pokemon GO before it even launches in South Africa?

Pokemon GO may already be “uncool”, and it hasn’t even officially launched in South Africa yet.

This follows an article published by WIRED titled, “Breaking: It’s now cool to hate Pokemon GO” a tongue-in-cheek look at how “public opinion seems to have shifted from rabid enthusiasm/bemused tolerance to rabid enthusiasm/crankiness and general scorn.”

They’re not the only ones to pick up on this disdain however, as people have taken to every form of social media to bash how “stupid” Pokemon GO is.

One graffiti-artist even took to starting a “Pokemon NO” campaign in New York City as “More and more Pokemon players are getting into accidents. Take care ’cause you can’t catch them all, if you get caught first.”
