Afrihost has cut the price of its capped ADSL data products, with prices ranging between R29 for 4GB and R798 for 200GB. This is not promotional pricing, and will be the standard Afrihost ADSL data price going forward.
Afrihost director Greg Payne said that their capped packages are never shaped and never throttled. “On our capped ADSL products you will always get the full speed that your ADSL line and exchange is capable of,” said Payne.
“Our uncapped service is never throttled, but may be shaped during peak network times to ensure that capped and business users have full speed,” added Payne.
Afrihost’s lower capped ADSL prices are immediately available to new subscribers, and will automatically be applied to existing subscribers on 1 October 2013.
