Axxess announced on Thursday, 13 March 2014 that it will drop the cost of top-ups for its capped ADSL customers from R19 per Gigabyte (GB) to R7/GB.

This move follows hot on the heels of Afrihost’s reduction to its top-up prices from R29 for 2GB to R5/GB. Afrihost also announced a reduction to its pre-paid ADSL data from R24/GB to R7/GB.

Many Internet service providers, including Axxess, have announced reductions to their capped ADSL products recently.

In February, Axxess announced its “Big capped ADSL price drop”, offering rates as low as R2.90/GB on its 1,000GB account.

Afrihost recently followed with a promotion that offers R2/GB rates on accounts with 100GB caps and larger.
