The latest MyBroadband speed test results show that Telkom Mobile provides the highest peak download speed in South Africa.
MyBroadband’s speed test server is hosted at Teraco/NapAfrica to ensure it offers a neutral testing environment.
NAPAfrica provides all network operators present at its peering points with free 1Gbps connections to the MyBroadband speed test platform.
Over the last month, 76,379 speed tests were performed on MyBroadband’s speed test platform, making it one of the most popular places to assess broadband performance.
The latest statistics show that the average South African download speed over the last month was 7,211kbps, and the average upload speed was 2,194kbps.
