Want to know what you’re missing out on at the rAge LAN this year?
Earlier this week (Wednesday, 8 October 2014) Internet Solutions (IS) announced in a press release that it would be providing a 2 Gigabit per second (Gbps) Internet connection to rAge LAN attendees.
It turns out they were low-balling it, and have installed double that capacity for the event at the Coca Cola Dome running today (Friday, 10 October 2014) through the rest of the weekend.
Usage is already at over 2 Terabytes, with attendees already filling up over 3Gbps of the available 4Gbps download capacity.
On the upload side, LAN users are burning through over 470 Megabits per second and have used 0.35TB.
Oh, and this is day one. And it’s just started.
At rAge 2013, IS provided a 1Gbps connection, and users burnt through over 20TB of data.
