OpenWeb has launched a gaming and streaming focused uncapped ADSL package it calls Home Uncapped Plus.

The uncapped option is meant to “fill the gap” between its Home Uncapped and Home Uncapped Premium options, with the ISP promising faster speeds and higher priority for gaming and streaming.

“Home Uncapped Plus offers a much lower contention ratio, the number of people sharing capacity on the network, and higher priority compared to the Home Uncapped product,” said OpenWeb.

OpenWeb CEO Keoma Wright said they have included a priority on streaming and gaming between 19:00 and 07:00 daily.

“To sweeten the deal even further we have added guaranteed Unshaped Download Heaven between 00:00 and 07:00 daily.

Packages are priced as follows:

  • 2Mbps – R249
  • 4Mbps – R489
  • 6Mbps – R589
  • 10Mbps – R749
  • 20Mbps – R1199

This in my opinion is the worst ISP I’ve ever dealt with.
