MyBroadband’s Q1 2016 broadband survey results show that Vumatel, Neotel, and Telkom’s fibre services were rated as the best broadband services in South Africa.
The survey was completed by 3,108 South African broadband subscribers. These subscribers were typically IT professionals and tech-savvy individuals.
The survey tested users’ opinions of their broadband service, and asked them how likely they were to recommend their broadband product to family and friends.
The table below provides an overview of the results from the user rating section of the survey (scores out of 10).
It should be noted that some products which did not receive enough feedback are not listed.

Would you recommend your ISP to a friend?
As part of the survey, users were asked: “How likely is it that you would recommend your current broadband service to a friend or colleague?”
The higher the score, the more likely a person was to recommend their current ISP to other people.
