The Pirate Bay celebrated its 13th birthday this past week, with the news that it is once again the biggest torrent website in the world, reports Torrentfreak.
The teenage website quietly climbed back to the top of the throne thanks in part to the takedown of major competitors like KickAss Torrents and its ability to stay online even when facing prosecution.
They weren’t always the most popular however, and the torrent site landscape has changed drastically in the last decade.
