It would be a slight understatement to say Donald Trump’s presidential campaign has been controversial.
Things only became more ridiculous when it was revealed that Trump’s new campaign CEO, Stephen Bannon, once ran a World of Warcraft gold farming marketplace.
“At various points, Bannon has worked as an investment banker, earned money off Seinfeld royalties, overseen a biosphere, directed films, and run an alt-right news site.”
“But one of the stranger blips on his career path came in the mid-aughts, when Bannon joined and eventually ran a company that made its name and fortune as an online marketplace to sell virtual gold to World of Warcraft players and other online gamers” reports Mother Jones.
The practice of Gold farming and selling is against World of Warcraft’s Terms of Service and is generally quite frowned upon by the community.
Of course, this has only given the internet one more reason to discuss Donald Trump’s campaign.
