Microsoft approves torrents on the Xbox One

Need another place to do some torrenting?

Torrex Pro is a Universal Windows Platform app that will allow torrenting on all Windows 10 platforms, including the Xbox One.

It’s not just an afterthought either, the Torrex Pro app is “fully optimised to the gamepad and easy to use,” and as a “powerful UWP example, it shows how the same app could work on every Windows 10 device and adapts to it”.

It will support torrent files launched via USB stick, or magnet links searched for directly through the console’s browser.

The app is currently in beta with a full roll-out coming within the next couple of weeks.
