Panarottis at the Newmarket Mall in Alberton says it will be laying charges against the programming company that supplied the game for showing pornographic material to minors, reports EWN.
The pornographic game “Pandora’s Box” was brought to the attention of the restaurant after a concerned parent overheard one of the children relaying the game’s content.
“The kids went into the play area and came back with this horrific story that the game they were playing was pornographic in nature and we were absolutely horrified.”
Restaurant owner Bret Milligan acknowledged the issue but said his staff were not involved in the packaging of the games and that the supplier is responsible.
“These are pre-loaded games. We can’t manipulate or change anything of the sort and we were given guarantee by the supplier that they had checked all is children friendly and only suitable for children.”
Update: MyGaming got in contact with the supplier and found out that the design company named in the original article was not the responsible party. Their name has been removed from this report for the sake of accuracy.
