Majesco Entertainment has announced a new BloodRayne title. BloodRayne: Betrayal will be released via download on Xbox LIVE Arcade and the PlayStation Network around the Q2/Q3 2011 mark.
BloodRayne: Betrayal stars the beautiful yet lethal dhampir (vampire) anti-heroine BloodRayne as she fights and feeds in a bloody new hack ‘n slash adventure. The game is being developed by WayForward. BloodRayne : Betrayal will be presented in as a 2D side-scrolling game.

Begrudgingly recruited by the vampire hunting Brimstone Society for one final mission, Rayne teams up with a mysterious new friend to stop an evil vampire massacre. The game will introduce new characters, gruesome environmental puzzles and a full arsenal of lethal weapons including Rayne’s signature arm blades. Needless to say, this is all designed with mature audiences in mind.
