Homefront dev Kaos Studios has promised players that there’s “exciting DLC” in the works. The news comes in after yesterday’s announcement that THQ had laid off 17 employees at the studio, prompting speculation about the game’s future.
“We have a full-time team here at Kaos Studios dedicated to ongoing support on the technical side,” writes employee Kaos Chefs on the company’s site, “as well as development of a wide range of exciting DLC that we’re not quite ready to talk about just yet, but hope to unveil to you in the very near future.”
“We’d like to thank you for your continued patience,” the team added, “and assure you that we will continue to support our multiplayer community for many months to come.”
Kaos also dropped an update for the Xbox version of the game earlier today, fixing “all profile freeze issues” and reassured gamers they’re “hard at work on further improvements.”
