Universum Global has released the results of its latest employer attractiveness survey, which focussed on tertiary students and young professionals.
The 2017 study was the largest to date, comprising of responses from 46,891 students and 22,321 professionals from across South Africa.
Both groups were surveyed across specific sectors, including “Engineering and Technology”.
According to the study, students showed an increased interest in pursuing an international career. The results also show a high mobility intention amongst experienced hires.
“48% of the experienced hires who responded to our survey indicated that they intend to change employers within a year,” said Universum.
“They are still looking for employers that would offer them professional training and development with leadership that will support their development.”
