Gearbox head honcho Randy Pitchford has posted yet another Youtube video, this time announcing that a playable demo will be released for Duke Nukem Forever on 3 June.
Pitchford also confirmed that Duke is still on schedule for his 14 June international launch date.
There is a ‘but’, however. Not just anyone will be able to play the demo. In fact, you will have to preorder the game to receive a first access demo code which will allow you to download it on 3 June. And there we thought that the point of a demo was to help you make a purchasing decision.
The good news is that Megarom has partnered with various local retails, including our own MyGaming Shop, and is providing a limited number of early access codes to those who pre-order the game.
In all likelyhood, the demo will be unlocked to the general public a few days after the early access club, but this remains to be seen.
