Rumour and speculation about EA’s officially unofficial but unofficially official Syndicate remake scored another hit today with industry spy site Siliconera leaking a bunch of alleged in-game dialogue scripts.
It’s not the first time, either – back in 2009, a page titled “Confidential: Starbreeze/EA “DART” Interactive Project 1” was leaked online, including a short series of dialogues.
Siliconera’s new stash is more of the same.
“In-game advertisements set up a familiar world – a dystopia where a chip called Dart can alter your memories,” writes Siliconera’s Spencer, ahead of the full text. “News anchors inform us about a diplomatic crisis between EuroCorp and the Gulf over uranium prices. A resistance exists too, a hacker known as Logos attacked the Manhattan Complex and escaped. Other resistance members… aren’t as lucky. Read on to find out the fate of the main character’s mother and father.”
A fairly lengthy exchange follows, but be warned it’s obviously kind of spoilerish.
