I’m sure that most gamers will agree that The Witcher 2 is one of the greatest things to have ever come out of Poland, and by the looks of things, Prime Minister Donald Tusk agrees.
On a recent trip to the country, Tusk gave US president Barack Obama an iPad loaded up with an animated series telling the history of Poland, as well as a collector’s edition of The Witcher 2. Obama was also given signed copies of Andrzej Sapkowski novels.
The Witcher 2 has been out for over a week now, and critics agree that it is a veritable masterpiece of an RPG.
“The Witcher 2 was lovingly crafted by CD Project RED. The story line is gripping and broad in scope; the environments stunning and immersive; the gameplay brutally challenging yet ultimately rewarding. Overall, The Witcher 2 is a fantastic RPG experience reminiscent of a bygone era of PC roleplaying games,” said James in our Witcher 2 review.
It’s obviously a great game, but we somehow don’t see Barack Obama tearing off the packaging and popping the disk in to sink hours into Geralt’s latest adventure. If he does, someone should probably tell him to upgrade his PC…
