A new preview version of Skype is available on desktop computers, which includes new features and enhancements.
Skype Preview is designed take advantage of large screens, and the company said it focused on chat in Skype Preview.
“Group chats are livelier with new features that improve your connection with friends and family, and you can also do more in group calls, with real-time screen and photo sharing,” said Skype.
Skype is also previewing features aimed at increasing productivity.
- @mentions – Allows users to jump into conversations where they were @mentioned to see what people have said.
- Chat media gallery – Finding shared content, such as links, documents, or media, in a chat is easier.
- Enhanced group calls – Helps customise the group call experience with drag and drop functionality.
