Local games distributor Megarom has told us to tell you that you are formally invited to the official South African Duke Nukem: Forever launch party, which takes place on the day the game hits local retail shelves: Friday, 10 June.
The fun kicks off at 6PM, and ends “when it ends”. Duke Nukem himself will apparently be there, accompanied by none other than real life Playboy bunnies. Megarom has confirmed that there will be spot prizes, which will include free beer, and also Playboy bunnies, but you will “have to work” to win one for yourself says an anonymous Megarom employee, whose name is Devon.
MyGaming staff will of course be there, if only to stage photos of ourselves punching Duke Nukem in the face, so come on down and troll us in real life. Say hi and we’ll buy you beer, that’s a promise.
It’s been a mighty long wait for the return of the king, so why not celebrate it Duke Nukem style: surounded by beer and scantily clad women.
