Paradox Interactive hires former Battlefield producer

Paradox Interactive have announced that they have snagged a top industry talent, Gordon Van Dyke. The former DICE (Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment) Battlefield Franchise Producer has joined the production team at Paradox Interactive AB as a Senior Producer. Van Dyke will be charged with leading the production of the online titles and developing new IP.

Paradox Interactive has been publishing some great titles niche PC titles of late, notably the Mount and Blade series, the Majesty series, The King Arthur RPG series, and indie smash-hit Magicka. It will be interesting to see what the publisher can produce with Van Dyke on board.

“Gordon brings a great amount of experience from working on the Battlefield series and Visceral. We are thrilled to welcome him to Paradox. Over the past couple of years we have been one of the fastest growing companies in the industry and Gordon will play a key role in our continued growth,” said Fredrik Wester, CEO of Paradox Interactive.

Gordon Van Dyke and the rest of Paradox Interactive will be at E3 2011 to showcase a selection of their upcoming portfolio, so we can look forward to some interesting announcements next week.
