New Zelda game coming to each Nintendo system this year

Speaking at Nintendo’s E3 2011 keynote address, Nintendo big cheese Shigeru Miyamoto announced that last year was the 25 year aniversary of the Mario series, and this year is the 25th aniverary of The Legend of Zelda.

To celebrate this, he revealed that a new Zelda game for each Nintendo games system will be released this year. 

First off, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening will be available worldwide on eShop by the end of today.  Then next weekend, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D will launch around the world for the 3DS. Then in September The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords will be available to DSi owners as a free download. Finally, Zelda: Skyward Sward will launch just in time for Christmas.
