Vodacom hikes prices of data bundles

31 December 2017

Vodacom has increased the price of its 250MB monthly data bundle from R59 to R63.

It has also increased the prices of its 100MB daily bundle from R14 to R17, its 250MB daily bundle from R25 to R27, and its 100MB weekly bundle from R15 to R17.

The mobile operator has also removed its 60MB weekly bundle for R12 from its portfolio.

“In the normal course of business Vodacom periodically reviews its product propositions to ensure that they are in line with the needs of our customers and that they make financial sense to the business,” the company told MyBroadband.

“As part of this process Vodacom implemented changes to some of its bundled offers including the decommissioning of the 60MB weekly bundle. All changes came into effect on the 13 December and all affected customers were notified.”

Details about the changes to Vodacom’s prepaid data bundle portfolio are available on its website.
