Publisher Bethesda and developer id Software have push back the release date for RAGE by a month. It will now be hitting shelves on 7 October 2011 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
RAGE is notable as it is the launch title showcasing id’s latest 3D engine, id Tech 5. It is also a new IP from the revered development company. id undoubtedly hopes the game will make an impact both with gamers and the game development industry, as they gear up to license the 3d engine technology.
