RAGE is apparently shaping up to be quite an impressive game, unsurprising really when you consider that id Software is behind the id Tech 5 engine powering it.
John Carmack revealed via Tweet that gamers were so impressed with the performance and visuals that they couldn’t believe it was running on a PS3. Players were apparently checking under the gaming kiosks to verify that the game wasn’t running on a h0ghend PC.
“High compliment from E3 – people looking under the kiosks to verify that they were actually playing Rage on a PS3 and not a high end PC,” tweets Carmack.
id Software recently pushed back the RAGE release date, and it will now be hitting stores on 7 October 2011 for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
