Hide your kids, hide your wife, the Bed Intruder Song is now available for Rock Band

1 July 2011

I almost can’t believe I’m actually writing these words, but apparently the Bed Intruder Song has just been released on the Rock Band Network.

So you can run and tell that, run and tell that, run and tell that, homeboy, home-home-homeboy.

For those of you that might’ve missed it somehow the first time around, the song is an auto-tuned remix of an America news clip, featuring a rather, um, flamboyant young man whose sister had been a victim of a botched sexual assault somewhere in the housing projects of Lincoln Park, Alabama. You can check it out below.

The video quickly became a viral superhit, went on to sell thousands on iTunes, and even appeared on the Billboard Top 100. The accidental star, Antoine Dodson, later used the profits to move his family out of the ghetto, so that’s a story with a happy ending. Awww!

The song is now available on Xbox LIVE / PSN / Rock Band Network for 160 MSP / $2.
