Openweb today announced that they have launched a “384k Standard Uncapped promotion”, reducing the price of their 384Kbps uncapped ADSL accounts from R219 per month to R139 per month.
“This uncapped account is identical to the Standard Uncapped offering selling for R219 per month. Clients will now, until the 15th of July 2011, be able to get a 384k Standard Uncapped account for only R139 per month, for life (or until they cancel),” said Openweb founder Keoma Wright.

• By way of comparison, MWEB’s 384 kbps “Bigtime surfer” uncapped ADSL package costs R219. This promotion also compares well against other similar products that typically go for R199 per month.
