2K Games today (7 July 2011) announced that Sid Meier’s Civilization World for Facebook has launched. Civilization World takes the series’ famously addictive style of gameplay and enables it to be played with friends on the world’s largest social platform.
Developed at Firaxis Games by game designer and creator of the Civilization series, Sid Meier, Civilization World offers a deep, robust gameplay experience, and an end goal for all players to strive towards, claim the developers. Players can take charge of their civilizations and jump into Civilization World by logging into their Facebook account and accessing the Civilization World app page.
