Battlefield 3 is one of the most hotly anticipated competitive multiplayer shooters of 2011, and the level of hype being built up around the game is rivalling the likes of the seemingly indomitable Call of Duty franchise.
According to BF3Blog, the game is currently in alpha testing and BF3Blog has been privy to a batch of leaked screenshots and videos made by participants. “In all, we’ve got a few large videos totalling about 35 minutes of gameplay + over 150 in-game screenshots,” said the website.
BF3Blog has apparently contacted DICE for comment before uploading the videos, but lo and behold, a video has appeared nonetheless. Over 7 minutes of gameplay footage gives us a good taste of the multiplayer infantry combat action that lies in store in Battlefield 3.
Catch the Battlefield 3 alpha footage before EA inevitably clamps down and has it removed.
Battlefield 3 is gearing up for release on 28 October 2011 in the EU and SA regions, and 25 October in the US.
