Today has been quite busy for Battlefield fans; as the game in currently in alpha testing phase ‘leaked’ footage and screenshots have begun to appear all over the internet. We are busily rounding up as much of the content as we can before EA has it yanked.
Against the deluge comes an official beacon – a teaser video for the Paris level of the Battlefield 3 multiplayer. It showcases the game in the now familiar visual style that has been adopted in Battlefield 3 promo clips. Jarring sounds; brief glimpses of high-octane action; hints of something spectacular about to happen before a sudden cut-away to something else that also looks freakin’ awesome.
One must wonder how long we will have to put up with this teaser style, especially now that numerous alpha gameplay clips showcasing some unedited action are beginning to make the rounds, getting Battlefield fans all hot and bothered. Up until this point the only official lengthy look we have been given into Battlefield 3 came from the impressive Tank Run video (below).
