If you’re a PC Gamer, and you have not yet dipped a toe into Starcraft 2 – shame on you. The game is taking over the e-sports scene, and grows in popularity almost every day. Compared to its predecessor, Brood War, which did not have much of a following in the West, Starcraft 2 has become an international phenomenon.
If you’re hesitant to delve into the fiercely contested online Multiplayer, why not watch the best pros in the world duke it out for fame and fortune? This weekend is that of MLG Anaheim, the biggest and most prestigious gaming tournament in North America. For the first time, a PC title is taking the main stage, and that title is Starcraft 2.
Pros from all over the world, including some of mighty Korea’s top players (always favourites to win), have flocked to Anaheim to compete for a $5000 cash prize. If you’re interested in watching some professional Starcraft 2, there are few events better organized and fun to watch (and with a bigger budget).
You can check out the MLG website here, where you’ll find two Starcraft streams, as well as Halo: Reach and Call of Duty: Black Ops, if that’s more your cup of tea.
