Got a PS3? Great, you’re in line to join the prestigious Assassin’s Guild next month. Mom will be so proud.
Ubisoft has announced it’s opening the Assassin’s Creed: Revelations beta on PS3 on 3 September. To get in on the killin’, you’ll need a PlayStation Plus subscription and / or one of Ubisoft’s UPlay accounts (free to register over here), although the press stuff describes this as a “timed exclusive”, suggesting it’ll be open to the public (or maybe even Xbox 360 gamers) after 11 September.
A full list of the beta’s features has been posted over on the official forums, but the important bits are that the client will be available to download shortly before launch, and that four modes will be included – Wanted, Manhunt, and the all-new Deathmatch and Artifact Assault.
Three maps “tuned to allow more strategy than those in Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood” will be bundled in too, including Knight’s Hospital, Antioch, and Constantinople.
Level cap’s topped out at 30, and unlockable gear has been scaled to fit this.
The full game is out 15 November.
