With Gamescom just about ready to explode all over the place tomorrow, 2K and Gearbox have dropped a Borderlands 2 teaser trailer just to get that hype dialled up to maximum.
It’s got monsters, robots, and a burly dude with a sweet beard and hand cannons – it’s like a tourist promo for Pandora. “The skags are vicious, the weather’s hot, everything’s out to kill me, wish you were here.”
Expect to see a lot more of this game later this week once the show gets going. Until now, Gearbox has been keeping it under a dusty tarp, with very few hard details getting out.
We do know that the guy in the teaser is Salvador, the new Gunzerker class rep, and that the sequel will feature the same 4-way co-op we all loved so much the first time around. Claptrap hasn’t been spotted yet, but he’s sure to make an appearance pretty soon.
