Aaaand sign ups are go go go! Valve’s opened the DOTA 2 beta registration, so now’s your chance to get in early and show some @$#%ing noobs how it’s @$#%ing done.
Of course, they haven’t actually announced when the beta’s starting, or how long it’s going to go on for, or what it includes, but hey, it’s Valve. Be glad they’ve opened registration.
The sequel is expected to make a pretty big appearance at Gamescom, which starts today in Germany, with a huge $1 million tourney happening alongside, featuring 16 of the world’s top DOTA teams.
According to the press stuff, you can get yourself signed up over on the game’s official site, although it seems to be down for the moment. Maybe I’m just not skilled enough to see it. For those of you who are, just sign in with your Steam account login, and choose “Get on the list”.
The game is scheduled to launch sometime this year.
