Deus Ex: Human Revolution coming to Mac this summer

12 September 2011

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is about to get its most dramatic augmentation yet, in the form of a Mac port via Feral Interactive.

It’ll do everything the PC and console versions can do, but it’ll be way more trendy and cool in some mostly intangible way.

“We are delighted to partner with Feral, a leading expert in development for the Mac platform, to bring the acclaimed Deus Ex: Human Revolution to Mac players, ” said Stephane D’Astous, general manager of Eidos-Montreal. “The game presents a powerful vision of a dystopian future, and we’re excited that gamers will now be able to experience it on the Mac.”

It’s due to launch sometime in “winter 2011/2012”, which is Northern-hemispherish for Southern-hemispherish “summer 2011/2012”.

Pricing, system requirements, and a proper release date will apparently be announced later this year.

This paragraph is where I’d link to MyGaming’s own Deus Ex: Human Revolution review just to remind everybody how awesome the game is, except that James hasn’t written it yet.

Don’t blame him, blame MyGaming for not shelling out for one of those multi-tasking augmentations.

James: I get the hint :S
