20 minutes of official Skyrim gameplay video

12 September 2011

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is shaping up to be one of the hottest titles of the 2011 holiday season. The game is set to launch on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on 11 November 2011.

Until now we’ve only had some tantalising teaser stuff from developer Bethesda, with actual gameplay footage coming in the form of “leaked” clips from various gaming expo’s.

Well, it seems that Bethesda has done with showing off the game behind closed doors and has released a set of three gameplay videos. Unlike the shoddy handycam stuff we’ve seen in the past, these are all available in clear 720p HD.

Todd Howard, executive producer for Bethesda Game Studios, guides viewers through the presentation that’s been shown at E3, QuakeCon, and PAX Prime.
