Market research firm AYTM has been very busy compiling data about Angry Birds, and recently presented its findings with the snazzy infographic below.
Apparently people are actually prepared to invest time and cash into working out why other people want to fling birds at pigs.

Some of the most impressive numbers and facts include:
• Gamers clock in around 200 million minutes of Angry Birds every day. That’s about 380 years each day, and 16 years of avian abuse crammed into every hour.
• Since launch, more than 100 billion birds have been hurled across device screens. Apparently there are only about 100 billion birds on the entire planet, so Angry Birds wins this one.
• Single and married players are equally likely to feel happy when playing the game, but single players are 7 times more likely to feel sad and 2.5 times more likely to feel angry, and 9 times more likely to suffer a deterioration in mood.
• 12% of players who’ve played Angry Birds more than 25 times have deleted the game to “prevent playing it anymore”.
