Activision’s prepping to launch a brand new single-player campaign gameplay trailer, set to go live during the half time break of the Montenegro vs. England European Championship qualifier tonight.
That’s 9 PM UK time, 10 PM local time, and around two minutes later on YouTube time.
That’s got to be costing Activision quite a bit of cash, but with November closing in fast, it’s all about the big push now.
Last month at the Call of Duty XP event in Los Angeles, the publisher revealed they’d funded the fan-film, Find Makarov: Operation Kingfish, as part of the game’s marketing rollout.
“When we saw saw it, we had two reactions,” said Activision’s CEO Eric Hirshberg. “The first one was ‘That’s freakin’ awesome.’ And the second one was ‘Who the hell made this?’”
And, presumably, the third, unverified reaction was, “How can we turn this to our advantage?”

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is out 8 November.
But you knew that already.
Here’s NOT the trailer mentioned here.
