Demon's Souls gets a local price cut

7 October 2011

To celebrate the release of Dark Souls, Megarom has announced that its progenitor, Demon’s Souls, will from today (7 October 2011) onwards carry a local recommended retail price of R299.

“With the release of Dark Souls upon us, some of you may have been wondering if it was still possible to get hold of Demon Souls on PS3? Well fear not. At the new RRP of R299 Demon Souls is available at your local retailer and can also be found at these stores. BT Games, Top CD, Detla 5, Super CD, Tradestation, Kalahari.com, Gamezone, Zaps, Animeworx and Look and Listen,” reads an announcement on the official Megarom Facebook page.

Demon’s Souls achieved critical acclaim when it was released exclusively on PS3 in early 2009, and it would appear that Dark Souls has not disappointed, earning a Metacritic score of 89/100.
