PopCap has yanked the curtains back on its latest virtual crackpipe for iOS, Popcorn Dragon.
It’s the first project announced since EA bought PopCap back in July for $650 million.
The game will harness the might and magic of futuristic touchscreen technology to have players drag a dragon around and about, breathing fireballs onto popcorn kernels and then gobbling up the resulting popcorn.
All the while avoiding bad guys like ghosts and pirates, obviously.
Your morning trip to the toilet is going to double in fun.
That dragon actually reminds me a bit of Falcor from The Neverending Story.
And what has been seen cannot now be unseen.
Rhymes that keep their secrets will unfold behind the clouds
And there upon the rainbow is the answer
To a neverending story
Aaaah aah-aah, aah aah-aaaaah aah aah aaaah aah-aah…
No word yet on pricing or a launch date, but it’s expected sometime later this year.
