If you wanted a proper reason to play the Dead Rising 2 spin-off, Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, here’s one – Frank West’s about to become a Terminator, and must locate and eliminate John Connor so that Judgement Day can proceed as planned.
Okay, I made up everything after the Terminator bit, but that would be pretty awesome too.
Anyway, the DLC includes the new Cyborg Skills Pack, which turns Frank West into – yes, you guessed it! – a cyborg.
Obviously, this means enhanced melee damage, added electrical damage, and that hot new robot apocalypse look. Clothes, boots, and a motorcycle optional.
In-game enhancements:
• Electricity damage added to all regular attacks
• Increased overall damage on melee attacks
• Increased damage output and magnified electric effects with electrical appliances
The DLC will be launching for PC and Xbox 360 on Tuesday, 25 October, and for PS3 the next day.
Dead Rising 2: Off the Record is basically Dead Rising 2, but with original Dead Rising protagonist Frank West replacing Dead Rising 2 protagonist Chuck Greene, a title affix, and a triple-A pricetag.
