Metal Gear Solid HD Collection gets a release date

26 October 2011

Who here played Metal Gear Solid 4?; raise your hands.

Okay, now who understood what the hell was going on?

As I thought.

Never fear though dear, MyGamingites, for on 3 February 2012 you will finally be able to get your hands on the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection which will help you piece everything together.

Or not.

Konami have officially given the HD reworking a launch date, meaning we can all start prepping ourselves for another trip through the MGS universe next year.

The HD Collection will include shiny HD version Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker – as well as Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake.

Oh? Did we forget to mention that before?

Yes, the original games which basically started the entire thing are packaged inside as well – but don’t expect it to be as glorious as the games that came afterwards, or anything – they’re over 20 years old.

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is sneaking up on us 3 February 2012.
