Naughty Dog will keep making Uncharted games

28 October 2011

You want more Uncharted? You got more Uncharted.

As business models go, it’s a pretty sensible one – and Uncharted dev, Naughty Dog, is totally investing in it.

In a video interview with the Official PlayStation Magazine UK, game director Justin Richmond says that, “There are a ton of Drake adventures out there and we haven’t told all of them yet, and as long as fans want the games and as long as we find something that’s interesting and will push the medium forward, we’ll continue to make them.”

Just don’t expect Uncharted: Drake in Space anytime soon. Yet.

The award-winning action-adventure / platformer / third-person shooter / hunky Indiana-Joneser series is getting its next instalment this November, with Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.

Several reviews have already been released ahead of next month’s launch, with the game currently averaging an impressive 94 on Metacritic.

The Official PlayStation Magazine UK awarded it a perfect 10, calling the game “not only be the best on PS3, but also one of the best in gaming history.”

Uncharted 3 lands on our shores next week, 2 November 2011 – expect the review to follow soon after.
