Last month, we reported that PS2 Classics would be making their way onto the PSN for download and play on PS3.
While there is yet to be a release schedule announced for that particular plan to hit the UK Playstation Network – the US Playstation Store is padding its stock with a few more PS2 titles.
Joining God Hand, and Odin Sphere (amongst others) are BloodRayne, Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland and Raiden III – bringing the total amount of PS2 Classics available on PSN to 8.

Okay, so it’s not all that impressive, yet – and Sony may be stretching the concept of “classic” here – but it’s good to see that the number of PS2 games are growing, and that the initial deal wasn’t just some “oh let’s just chuck this out there” once-off thing.
Still, I’d like to see some other games getting added to that list – Gitaroo Man wasn’t a massively graphically intensive game, and that was loads of fun – totally plausible for a PSN release.
Come on, Sony, there is a massive library of games at your fingertips – and a wealth of fresh consumers who are yet to experience; start cashing-in on that.
Still no word on when this is all happening for us in the EU-zones, but we’ll keep you posted.
