The fine folks over at Eurogamer have reported that possible Thief 4 (we refuse to call it Thi4f) storyboards have leaked onto the net.
The pictures were spotted on the personal blog of one of the guys who works for Goldtooth – the guys who did the cutscenes for Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
Deus Ex – Eidos Montreal; Thief – Eidos Montreal. Need we say more?
Further anchoring the supposed “leak” into the realm of legitimacy is the fact that the blog, and all things relating to it were subsequently pulled.
Scandalous!
It’s been quite a few years since Thief: Deadly Shadows was released (about 7 years, to be exact) and fans have been aching for a new foray into thievery for a very long time.
Thief 4 was officially announced earlier this year, so we know it’s coming – but details (as always) have been annoyingly scarce.
Of course, now that Deus Ex is out the door, it’s safe to assume that this is where Eidos will be focusing their attention next.
With money-bags Square-Enix backing Eidos Montreal, we’re sure to see the same level of polish we saw with Deus Ex (and hopefully for the Tomb Raider reboot which is coming next year), so consider our juices flowing.
Check out the alleged storyboards below and catch a glimpse at what Garrett (or perhaps someone new?) will be getting up to.
Speculation: Go go go!
