Square Enix has released their bi-annual fiscal report to the public, letting the world peruse the sales figures for their big titles for the year. The game of most interest to the industry and consumers alike is Deus Ex: Human Revolution, the critically acclaimed third entry into the classic series.
While some fans were a little displeased with the game, particularly the less-than-entertaining boss fights, Deus Ex: Human Revolution has nevertheless posted impressive numbers of 2.18 million across all platforms. Dungeon Siege 3 also pushed a tidy 820,000 units.

The report also divided the sales by market, and it is interesting to note that Deus Ex was a fair bit more popular in Europe, with 1.38 million sales, compared to the US with only 800,000 units. The same held true for Dungeon Siege 3, with 480K sales in Europe, 320K in the US and a paltry 20K in Japan.
These numbers put Square Enix in the green, over the six months ending in September the developer recorded profits of $47.39 million, but with decreased revenues of $735.26 million.
