Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary maps coming to Halo: Reach next week

Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition

If you’re not sold on the full-price Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary HD remake/reboot/re-thing launching next week Tuesday, you might be interested to know that there’s also a special Anniversary map pack coming to Halo: Reach the day before.

The DLC, tagged at 1,200 Microsoft moon monies, includes six regular multiplayer maps (Battle Canyon, Breakneck, High Noon, Penance, Ridgeline, and Solitary) and one Firefight map (Installation 04).

That’s basically all of Halo: CE Anniversary’s maps, but for much less than buying Halo: CE Anniversary would actually cost you. SCORE!

Halo: CE Anniversary is new Halo team 343 Industries’ debut, developed in cooperation with Saber Interactive and Certain Affinity in time for the tenth anniversary of the original release.

The game’s had a total extreme makeover, with Achievements, new easter eggs, and online co-op, and also features Kinect support for the two or three players who’d be into that.
