Sony has revealed to IGN that the fastest selling PSN game since the service launched in 2006 is now officially inFamous 2: Festival of Blood, a standalone PSN title that is based around inFamous 2.
“On the digital front, we are also pleased to report that inFAMOUS: Festival of Blood is the fastest selling PS3 digital game ever launched on PSN,” said Sony’s Patrick Seybold.
The game came out on 25 October and costs $9.99. It is fully Move enabled and does not require inFamous or inFamous 2. Sony neglected to reveal how many units have been sold, or how fast they have been sold.
In inFamous 2: Festival of Blood, vampires have overrun New Marais and Cole MacGrath has been bitten. If Cole does not find and kill the head vampire before the night is over he will remain a vampire forever. In his vampire state Cole has long fangs, glowing red eyes, pale skin and blood red veins. Bad ass.
